Throughout this ordeal there have been a handful of very decent, sincere people who have supported me, not judged me and continued to believe in me. I thank them from the bottom of my heart for their continued support and love.

Michele - my very best friend, who has given me so much encouragement and love

Elridge - who sent me the biggest bunch of flowers I have ever received when we arrived back in South Africa, and who continues to support me emotionally

Brett - my very best friend in Cape Town - who continues to support me with love & encouragement

Mark my counselor in Cape Town - who offers a firm hand of emotional support when things get too challenging and difficult

My film students in Cape Town and Johannesburg - you know who you are

Duncan - who hosts my websites and who patiently waited for payments when I couldn't pay

Dr Alkor from Bahrain Chamber of Commerce - for all his support and encouragement

Ali - my 2nd sponsor in Bahrain, who continues sending me encouraging emails and who still wants to do business with me despite all the negative publicity in Bahrain

Hussain and Catherine in Bahrain - who looked after my son while we were in prison and who helped us negotiate our release by eating humble pie with Hejris
